It took them a few days to become inseparable friends
At first, the dog was quite confused to see a cat in his house. But later he realized, the cat was begging to be accepted and loved. She wanted to play with the dog. Very soon, much to the delight of their owners, the pets became best friends.
Nothing is guaranteed when you live with pets. Especially if they are of different species. But with patience and right reflexes, they can get along with each other very well and even become friends.
Beck and Blue are a real example of such a friendship!
Beck is a German Shephard. One day, his owners decided to adopt a kitten. The dog didn’t know how to react to this and, which is more, how to treat the new member. So he developed a strategy: he decided to keep a proper distance from the cat and watch her. He wanted to get used to her presence. The cat, in her turn, was not hostile towards the dog at all. She just hesitated and was a little shy.
The kitten went from a complete stranger to the best playmate Beck has ever had. Soon Beck decided to make the first move. He began to approach the kitten slowly, especially when she was busy playing. At that moment, he realized he was living with the best playmate ever.
The dog’s family helped him get used to the cat’s presence. They gave him treats every time he treated Blue with affection and care. Now the dog began to associate the cat with something good and desired.
It took the pets only a couple of days to strengthen their friendship and become best friends. They are now inseparable.
