Mother lioness teaches her tiny babies how to cross a stream

All four of the little lions learned their lesson!

Here are 4 cute lion cubs following their mother across a stream in Mala Mala Game Reserve, South Africa. One of the park rangers named Cameron Inggs caught the scene on camera. The man noticed the lion family walking around, however, one particular moment caught his attention. Things got more interesting when they stumbled a not so big river. The mother crossed the river, and the cubs had no other choice but to follow her. But the little lions didn’t look so confident.

One of the cubs – probably the bravest among them – picked up all his strength and went forward. Although the river was too deep for the tiny creature, it didn’t give up and followed the mother all the way. Then two other cubs followed their sibling without hesitation. They copied all the moves of their brave brother and after a short time ended up on the other side of the river.

The fourth cub was still afraid, but then realized it was much more dangerous away from the family. Of course, the mother would’ve come after her cub, if necessary.

In the end, all of the little lions learned a great lesson.

Lions are quite indecisive when it comes to crossing water. They enter the water only when it’s really necessary. Otherwise, they just bypass it staying on the land.
