The bride came up with a unique idea!
There is a tradition in many countries, where bridesmaids accompany the bride at her wedding ceremony. In most cases, all of the bridesmaids wear the same dresses on the special day.
However, this bride decided to make some changes in the tradition. Instead of her close friends, she asked her and her husband’s grandmothers to be her bridesmaids. Her idea was wonderful!
The bride wanted her grandmothers to feel loved and important. She wanted them to feel young again and forget about difficult times for a day.
It was very important for the couple to see their grandmothers happy on their special day.
The oldest of the 4 grandmothers was 90 years old. Others were 70, 73, 74 and 75 years of age.
