Lucas became one of the largest newborns in Australia weighing almost 6kg. Despite his huge size, the labor went quickly and without any problems.
The baby is the second child in his family. The woman gave birth to her first baby a year before Lucas’s birth. He was also a huge baby.
Their mother is Nina Tassell (38). The woman mentioned that the labor was so quick, they didn’t even manage to reach the hospital. The spouses were on their way to the St John of God Hospital, when Nina realized the baby was already coming out. Apparently, Lucas had planned to be born in the front seat of his father’s car.
That day became the most unforgettable one in their life, as the father had to help with the labor.
Nina’s sister-in-law, Sonya Anson, had prepared everything for the labor. However, when Nina called her to let her know the childbirth had already started, Sonya had to instruct her via the phone. With the help of her husband and sister-in-law, Nina managed to successfully give birth to her giant boy.
Nina’s case is, in fact, considered dangerous and risky, as the baby was over 6kg. For some period of tie, the baby had to be under the doctor’s care.
Fortunately, the woman gave birth to an absolutely healthy child. Now he’s safe and sound!
