The dog was happy to accept the kittens as her own!
Here is a sad story about a mother dog that lost all his puppies. Fortunately, the story had a happy end.
A woman found an Australian shepherd named Georgia at a gas station. The Sunshine Dog Rescue center found Georgia after she had given birth to her puppies prematurely. None of the puppies survived the birth. The founder of the Sunshine Dog Rescue, Anita Osa, noticed how much the mother dog was hurt and injured. She tried to find her puppies tearing off the mattress on which she was giving birth.
Osa contacted an animal shelter to come and take Georgia. While the dog was on her way to the shelter, three newborn kittens were found without mother.
The shelter staff wanted to let the Georgia take care of the lonely kittens. However, they also worried the dog would not accept them as her own. Fortunately, Georgia did not mind them. In fact, she was even happy to take care of the tiny kittens. It was her chance to be a mother after losing all her puppies.
Georgia became even kinder and more gentle. She feed the kittens with her milk, keeps them warm and protects them. The kittens didn’t even realize that their foster mother was a dog.
These adorable tiny creatures helped Georgia fill the void in her heart. Now she is motivated and ready to live her life to the fullest. Georgia needed newborns to take care of, and the kittens needed a mother who would love them.
