Incredible! Shark that was nicknamed “God of War”

This has gone through many hardships

Dean Prekazman is an underwater filmmaker. He has filmed an 11-year-old white shark near the Neptune Islands. There are about 1000 white sharks living in this area.

The huge shark has a great number of scars on his skin. He easily stands out in the ocean when surrounded with small fishes. No one has ever met a shark with so many scars. Some people believe ship propellers have injured the shark, other say he got stuck in underwater traps. There are many other versions of how the scars have appeared on the poor animal.

However, Professor Yannis Papastamatiou is sure that the scars were caused the dominant interaction between sharks or their prey. Adult white sharks reach 20 feet in height and weigh up yo 2,5 tons.

The shark looks like he has gone through several wars, so he got the nickname “God of the Ocean War”. Dean assures that the shark is in fact very friendly. He is just fine with his appearance and doesn’t pay much attention to it.

These sharks live mostly in Australia, California and South Africa. Sometimes they also appear in the Mediterranean.
