Hope that one day wild animals will run freely in the wild!
Vicky Keahey is the President and CEO of In-Sync Exotics. The organization has saved thousands of animals over the years. However, the most prominent one has been this sweet lion – Lambert.
Lambert was found in a terrible condition in 2014. Initially, the lion had been bought as a domestic animal. He looked more like a poor weak puppy than a strong lion.
At first, Lambert was really confused when he arrived at the shelter. Vicky covered him with a warm blanket and put him in his bed so that the baby would not be scared anymore. Since then, the lion has taken up a habit to always carry his favorite blanket.
Lambert has already completely recovered and now looks like an amazing lion. However, the already adult lion still needs special attention as he cannot survive alone in the wild.
Lambert is very active, energetic and brave, but still refuses to part with his blanket.
There are many other animals living in the shelter. The center gives wild animals another chance to have a better life and take proper care of them. Still, we hope that one day these wild animals will no longer be locked in cages, but will run freely in the wild!
