Recently, a German guy turned to experts to get some information about his unusual eye feature. It turned out to be something incredible and almost impossible.
Eye pupils usually react to light by narrowing and expending. The size changed of the pupils can also happen when we are concentrated on something or express strong feelings. In this case we do not control the change.
However, this 23-year-old guy is different.
According to him, he has an unusual feature that he noticed in his childhood. He can “play” with his pupils expending and narrowing them at will. The guy can narrow the pupils with the tension of intraocular muscles, and expends them with the their relaxation. “I can even control the diameter!”, explained the guy.
After several medical examinations and researches, it turned out that the man can expend his eye pupils up to 2.4 millimeters and narrow to 0.88 millimeters. There is no one else in the world who can do this.
Scientists are now working on finding out whether this is a rare genetic feature or something really special. What if this feature is the result of a new level in human evolution?
