What lovely creatures!!
This pregnant cat ended up in Animal Welfare League of Arlington, Virginia.
The cat felt comfortable with strangers and very confident. She managed to make friends with other cats and dogs. However, her best friend was a dog that liked her kittens a lot and was ready to take care of them. The cat expresses her gratitude to the dog by petting the dog.
When she became a mother, the cat dedicated her whole time and energy to her kittens. Kona, the dog, heard the cries of the kittens from the corridor and started wagging her tail. She was looking forward to seeing them.
Just like Freckles, the cat, Kona was also saved while pregnant. She raised the puppies until they were ready for adoption. Asia, a volunteer, adopted Kona so now she was ready to take care of all animals in the shelter.
