During a class project in Las Vegas, two young boys engaged in a passionate discussion about their dreams of becoming professional bull riders. When FOX5 caught wind of their aspirations, they decided to surprise the boys and help make their dreams a reality.
From a young age, Jay Kellogg and his sister Jet were captivated by the thrill of bull riding. Even without participating in the sport, they could feel the rush of adrenaline. Their late father, a skilled bull rider, instilled in them a deep admiration for the sport.
Expressing his heartfelt desire to follow in his father’s footsteps, young Jayce proudly donned his father’s Texas-style hat. Moved by their story, FOX5 News teamed up with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to create a surprise experience for the aspiring riders.
The FOX5 Surprise Squad felt compelled to do something extraordinary for Jesse and Jet, so they arrived unannounced at their homes for a heartwarming and surprising interview. The PBR team joined in the surprise by delivering three renowned bulls to the boys’ driveway. The sheer shock and excitement on their faces were priceless as they witnessed the bulls being unloaded from the truck.
Their awe intensified when they recognized the approaching figure as J.B. Mountain, a well-known bull rider. The children eagerly shared their love for the sport with Mountain, holding him in the same regard as their beloved father. To further commemorate the special occasion, Mountain presented the youngsters with PBR tickets as a token of his appreciation.
That evening, the boys had the opportunity to attend a PBR performance and witness firsthand the exhilaration of the sport. It was a day filled with joy and wonder, one they would cherish forever.
In reflecting on their grandchildren’s remarkable day, the children’s grandparents expressed their profound admiration for their capabilities and creative spirits. Their grandmother remarked, “God has a special way of connecting with children, and I believe their father is watching over them, overjoyed by their achievements.”
