The sea view is everything! 🌊😍Watch how this 17-th century house was renovated in the comments 🤩👇
Ca’n Rei is a 17th-century house in Mallorca, Spain, renovated by Isla Architects. The architects moved from Switzerland to Mallorca to work on this project. They aimed to create a simple and comfortable living space with white walls, terracotta floors, and antique Mallorcan furniture. The house overlooks the sea in Banyalbufar, away from the party scene.

Originally owned by a German couple for 40 years, the house was cluttered with various items. The architects stripped away the modern additions and restored its original features. They repaired the facade, structure, and roof, adding windows for better ventilation. Inside, they used traditional Mallorcan materials and furnishings.

The result is a bright and airy space, with minimal furniture including a custom red table and traditional Mallorcan rocking chairs. The renovation aimed for a relaxed and beachy atmosphere, perfect for barefoot living year-round.
