Pets are not just animals, they become real family members. And when something terrible happens to them, it hurts just as much, as when something happens to a person.
In 2012 Robert from California, USA, went through a dramatic incident: his cat Chebon went missing. According to The Dodo, the man even put off his tour to Ohio in order to find him.

I remember praying one day and I said: “Lord, I would do anything, just bring me my Chebon back.”
Time went by, but the searches brought no result. After a year of unsuccessful attempts Robert gave up. The story could’ve ended in a sad note here, but that was not the case.
In 2019 a kind woman found a homeless cat and took it to the vet.
The cat was dehydrated and worn out from street life, but surprisingly healthy. The cat had a microchip, and when they scanned it, it showed that the cat was 19 years old, and even Robert’s name was shown. The cat was Chebon.
Robert worried that it might have been some kind of mistake. He went to the shelter, where the cat was held as soon as possible.
Robert was taken to a room. Hardly was the box with the cat in it opened when his eyes filled with tears.

After 7 years of wandering Chebon is finally home. He will spend the rest of his life in warmth and comfort together with his old human friend. Miracles do happen!
