Young people in Chandler, Arizona, saved the incredibly worn out cat named Ann. They were shocked by the fact, that the poor thing was still alive.

Ann was rescued by the local humane society from a mobile home, where, aside from the cat, stayed 40 other cats and 2 dogs. The rescuers were afraid they wouldn’t manage to save her on time. Ann looked like a skeleton covered with skin. Employees of one of the animal shelters saw the photo of the cat with a note for help, and took the poor thing to them. A hospice for dying was waiting for the cat, however people took a chance and tried to put Ann on her paws. On the first night in the foster home Ann was so fast asleep, that it became clear – everyone was mistaken. Ann was a fighter and she wanted to live.

She was given food for the little kittens, as the poor thing could barely move because of the loss of muscle mass. After two weeks, the first results were visible: the cat was gradually gaining weight, and was generally happy being surrounded with love and care. In just 4 months Ann was completely recovered and now she looks like a real cat. She likes to play with the other cats and with toys, climb trees, and also to run. Ann is completely healthy. She showed people, that you should not lose hope to the last, even if you had completely lost your hope in humanity.
