This mom bought a beggar a breakfast. After reading his confession note, she could barely breathe

This young mother and student Casey Fischer from the USA hurried to have a cup of coffee in the bar before her lessons. However, meeting a beggar on her way she managed to change more than one life, without even realizing it.

“Today, on my way to Dunkin’ Donuts I met a beggar. He was standing on the road and singing, begging for money. Then he entered Dunkin’ together with me. I tried to talk to him while he was counting his coins, but apparently he didn’t want to chat with me. He had only $1 worth of coins, so I just bought him a coffee with a donut and set next to him. He told me lots of things, like how people often mistreat him. Just because he’s a homeless man. Drugs turned him into a person that now he hates so much. His mom died of cancer. He never knew his dad. He always wanted his mom to be proud of him. We spent several hours like this, discussing deep topics. That was unexpected for me.

This wonderful man was named Chris. He is one of the most honest people I have ever known. When I was finally going to go back to university, he asked me to wait a little bit – he wanted to write a note for me. He put some words on the receipt of the Donut, apologized for his handwriting, smiled at me and left. I went on reading: “I wanted to kill myself today. Because of you I now do not. Thank you, beautiful person!”.

It’s unbelievable how a few kind words can change a human life. Always remember this, when you want to be rude to someone. Words may kill, but they also may cure. Share this amazing story with your friends.
