After more than 90 years of experience as a barber, Anthony Mancinelli is not going to retire anytime soon. This is a real feat for the world’s oldest hairdresser. At 108, Anthony Mancinelli still works full-time and doesn’t plan to stop.
Mancinelli got the title of “the oldest barber in the world” in the Guinness Book of Records 11 years ago at the age of 96. But the man keeps breaking his own records.
When journalists asked him whether he was going to retire or not, the man replied: “Why would I?”
He turned 108 in March, and plans to keep working 5 days a week and 8 hours a day, just like he does now.
Business is good in Anthony’s barbershop, which is located in New Windsor, New-York. He has many regular costumers, including his 81-year-old son.
Does Mancinelli have any secrets of longevity?
The man said, he would’ve shared his secret with his relatives, if he had any. For example, with his beloved wife, who died many years ago.
I was married for 69 years. She died 14 years ago. I miss her a lot”, added the man.
And what do you think about this?
