Two little fates
When this little kitten and this puppy appeared in the same shelter on the same day, their lives were turned upside down.
This story is about an incident, that describes what it means to find someone really special, and how awfully painful it is to feel alone in this world.
These 2 animals were brought to Shenandoah Valley Animal Service Center in Virginia, USA, on the same day.
The kitten was found wandering all alone on the street. His health is in a good state.
The dog, on contrary, was not in a proper condition. The baby had previously been hospitalized. A man had found the puppy in a horrible state and taken him to a vet clinic.
“He was dying and needed immediate help”, said Huffman, the shelter’s director.
The unfortunate baby was unconscious. His blood glucose and body temperature were too low to be measured.
After the first procedure, the dog was still unable to get up. He spent hours with his eyes closed and couldn’t even move his head.
One of the shelter volunteers took the puppy home to take care of him. She spent two nights looking after the little guy.
