She did everything for the sake of her children
You have probably heard the name Mary Ann Webster. She was considered “the ugliest woman in history”. Her appearance, however, had changed after a severe disease.
Mary was mocked all her life, but she managed to remain a powerful and fearless woman.
The woman was born in in London in 1874 into a poor but large family. Since childhood, she had been engaged in nursing.

At the age of 29, Mary met Thomas Bevan, who would later become her husband. The spouses had 4 children. At the age of 32 her health condition began to deteriorate. Her joints began to hurt, migraines began. Sometimes it was difficult to even get out of bed. The doctors had no idea what was wrong with her. Mary, however, couldn’t stay in bed because she had to work.
Her facial features became distorted over time, and her limbs became thicker and coarser.
