This old man bought a liner ticket and has been living in it for 13 years

One can only be jealous of such a luxurious life

People love to make plans when they are young. But sometimes, they never come true. And when they get old, they lose all their long-awaited stability. This is what happened to Morton Jablin, an old man from the USA.

The man has been living in the classic “American Dream”. He took part in the WW2 and started a family after the war. He brought up 2 sons. The man even tried his hand at business. He founded a small lace production company. The business was quite successful, and he managed to build a large house for his family.

However, fate couldn’t give this man all the best that he wished. The man didn’t manage to live happily in the newly-built house. In 2007, Morton’s wife passed away. Later, his children left their home for different states. It was at this time, that Morton decided to make radical changes in his life.

The man didn’t want to go to a nursing home, so he took steps, unusual for older Americans. He decided to spend the res of his days surrounded by young people. And he wanted to be in the center of attention. Morton spent all his saving on a single ticket.

A ticket to a real cruise! Mr. Morton has been living on the Seven Seas Navigator for over 13 years. He is already 94 years old. And Still, he is not going to leave the ship any sooner. He hopes, one day he will cross paths with his sons and other relatives.

As the old man mentions himself, he’s in a great relationship with the whole staff. Cooks already know his favorite dishes and he has a personal table in the dining room. Also, there’s a doctor for him to visit at any moment.

He’s has made friends with the sailors and other workers, who manage the liner. Mr. Morton considers them his second family. And the liner staff calls him the living mascot of the ship.
