Paws of War is an organization, the main goal of which is to help soldiers take care of their pets and those that they rescue during their military service. Currently, the organization is supporting three soldiers who want to adopt puppies and take them home.
The soldiers found Strawberry, Luna Moon and Duchess wandering alone near their overseas military base. The little animals were trembling from cold and hunger. So the soldiers decided to take them to the organization. The poor dogs could finally eat something and got a shelter.
It happens a lot, that during their military service, soldiers rescue stray animals and make friends with them. And this is a story about such a friendship. These three soldiers got so attached to their little fellows, that in the end decided to adopt them.
They are determined to return to the States together with their new family members. However, the repatriation of the dogs might be a problem. And its for this reason, that the guys turned to the organization Paws of War.
This organization has a years-long experience of transporting pets to another country. The soldiers launched fundraising campaign to pay the transportation costs.
Thanks to the support of the organization and the sponsors, the three dogs – Strawberry, Luna Moon and Duchess – are now welcomed to their new families!
According to People, the relatives of the soldiers are looking forward to meeting the wonderful dogs. “Duchess will be a great birthday present for my son! And it’s a no less great present for me to be able to keep her at home”, said one of the soldiers.
