Natural beauty is now considered more attractive

Beauty standards have changed greatly!

Beauty standards, fashion and trends are constantly changing. What is fashionable today, might become old-fashioned tomorrow. And now it turns out, that plump lips are no longer considered fashionable. Instead, natural beauty of women is much more appreciated.

Today’s rule is – natural beauty is a priority!

Expressive and thick eyebrows

Previously, it was common to make thick eyebrows smaller and thinner. In order to meet this beauty standard, women had to pluck their eyebrows enduring the pain. Today, thick eyebrows are much more beautiful.

Attractive shapes

Attractive forms and shapes are more acceptable and appreciated nowadays, than thinness.

Surely, every woman is beautiful in their own way. And everyone should love and accept their appearance and body the way they want them to be, despite all the standards and stereotypes.

Today we come across wonderful plus-size models who have gained a lot of popularity and admiration on thousands of people.

Freckles

As you remember, girls and women used to cover up their freckles with the help of foundation. They would even turn to beauticians to completely get rid of them. Today, however, this facial feature is actually attractive among men and women. Some people even use makeup to paint fake freckles on their face.

Fox eyes

This feature requires a lot of effort and skill. Women have to shape their eyes with the help of different makeup products or turn to cosmetologists. There are also those, who undergo plastic surgery to shape their eyes.

Small Breasts

Small breasts are stylish now. You can hardly find women who compare to see whose breasts are bigger.  Artificial appearance and forms have become old-fashioned. Natural beauty is now valued.

These changes have even entered the field of linguistics.

Linguists have conducted an interesting study on the roots of the perception of beauty in other languages and peoples. For instance, the perception of beauty in Greece is called “kalos”, meaning “fair”. The Latin word “bellus” means “fight”, and in their opinion, everyone should “fight” for beauty.
