The Italian woman successfully gave birth to a healthy child!
Anatolia Vertadella is an Italian woman and mother, who gave birth to a 9-pound baby at the age of 101. The woman had been diagnosed with cancer before. However, as the woman said, God himself helped her bear another child after having 16.
Many doctors refused to help the woman. They even criticized those who carried out the operation on the elderly woman. Alexandro Popolichi, the head doctor, did his best to make the woman’s dream come true. Performing an IVF procedure on an elderly woman is prohibited to many countries in Europe. So, the doctor performed the procedure in a private clinic in Turkey.
Obviously, the doctor was aware of the risks, as the woman was already 101 years of age. However, the doctor let Anatolia decide for herself.

Alexandro also mentioned that the woman was in a great health condition for her age. He even predicted a long life for Anatolia.
Anatolia’s husband passed away in 1998. So she has to find a donor, who turned out to be a 26-year-old Catholic guy.
