The dog became a good friend and a caring foster mother
A dog ended up in a deep valley and was unable to get out of it. Some people contacted one of the local animal shelters and asked for help. Michelle – a volunteer – very soon arrived at the scene.
She went down the valley to save the dog. On the bottom, Michelle came across a pleasant surprise. The Shih Tzu dog was lying on the ground and feeding a lonely kitten with her milk.
Turned out, that the dog was not stuck in the hole. She was just taking her time feeding the poor kitten.
But they might’ve stayed down the valley for a rather long time, if the people around didn’t call the volunteers. The animal shelter accepted the dog and the little kitten as their new members.
The dog’s name was Gerda. She was a very good friend and a caring foster mother. The kitten started gaining so much weight that it became difficult for her to move around.
