Model twins used to be bullied for their hairstyle

The twins eventually got out of their shell and started liking their unique hair

There was a time when Cipriana Quann and TK Wonder hated their hair. “I hated my hair and saw it as an obstacle for me”, said Cipriana.

Eventually, they got out of their shell and started liking their unique hair. Later they started a blog called “Urban Bush Babes”, together with their friend Nikisha Brunson.

“We noticed that people were criticizing those who didn’t want to change anything in their natural hair and we wanted to break all the stereotypes”.

Now the unique sisters work with ASOS, GAP and other magazines. Millions of people all around the world admire these twins.

They are already tired of the same question people ask them every single day: “Is this your real hair?”. And there is one answer to this: “Yes!”.

“WOW! Isn’t it heavy? How are you able to keep your head straight?”

“It is another one stereotype that Afro curls are heavy, but it’s quite the opposite! I admit it is really hot especially in the burning sun of Ney York, but the hair in general looks deceiving. In fact, it is as light as a feather. So I would say no, it is not heavy!”, answers Cipriana every time.

“Are the dreadlocks braided?” – “No!”

“Why?” – “I prefer the natural look of my hair”.

“Why don’t you two wear the same hairstyle when you go out?” – “It’s just my choice how to style my hair”.

Jokes aside, the sisters love their hair to look different.
