Legendary singer Celine Dion has recently been diagnosed with an incurable disease – muscle stiffness syndrome. As a result, people with this syndrome end up becoming “living statues”: over time they become unable to walk or even speak.
There is no cure, however, proper treatment may slow down the development rate. Because of her condition, Dion had to cancel her Europe tour.
The legendary woman has recently shared some information about her condition with her followers. She explained, that only one in a million people suffers from this rare disease. The disease is accompanied by severe spasms, so she is unable to perform now.
Sadly, the symptoms directly affect her everyday life. Most of the times she finds it difficult to use her vocal cords and sometimes she can’t even walk properly.
Currently, Celine Dion is under the supervision of highly-qualified doctors. Thanks to them and her relatives she manages to somehow control her condition.
Celine keeps mentioning that she actually misses her fans and is looking forward to meeting them on stage. However, it is impossible at the moment. Now she is doing her best to sing and live a normal life.
