Man unexpectedly found out he was a millionaire

He worked hard all his life but couldn’t enjoy his earnings

Curt Degerman used to collect bottles and hand them in all his life. One day, he visited a bank as a homeless man. However, soon it turned out he was a millionaire.

Degerman used to be the best student in his school with a great potential. Everyone expected him to build a successful career, many universities offered the guy free education.

Unfortunately, Curt wasn’t successful. As a teenager, he gradually left all his friends, gave up on school and soon turned into a beggar. The next 40 years of his life, Curt spent collecting empty bottles in a small town in Sweden. Local people distinguished him with his habit of visiting a bank once a week.

In Sweden, bank managers have no right to view a customer’s bank accounts. And who cares about the savings of a homeless beggar!? No one expected a beggar to invest all his money from empty bottles into securities and gold. Then he bought his first shares and started playin on the exchange.

This is where he needed his potential. He knew exactly when to buy and when to sell and always followed the exchange news. Degerman had no time to spend all the money accumulated during his life. Moreover, his story became famous only after his relatives were informed about his inheritance.

In the end, Curt happened to have $1 million in stocks, $400,000 in cash and 124 carat gold. No one understands why the man kept living as a beggar when he had such wealth. Degerman could afford a big house, a car, a family. However, he preferred collecting bottles instead.

In the end, his relatives, who didn’t even remember about his existence, took advantage of his life condition and inheritance.
