The kids’ lives were far from normal
Mariah Carey posted a message on Instagram on April 30th to celebrate the birthday of her twins. Monroe and Moroccan are already 12 years old. The post contained several photos, including one of Carey with the twins in the back seat of a car, as well as images of the trio filming a video and a holiday picture, which was appropriate given Carey’s title as the Queen of Christmas.

Nick Cannon, the father of the twins, also celebrated their birthday on Instagram, posting a video of their day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The birthday kids arrived in a limousine in matching sweatshirts, and Cannon joined them in playing games and riding rides.
On the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast earlier in the month, Cannon spoke candidly about the experience of parenting tweens, saying that it was his first experiense with 12-year-olds and that they were having real conversations. He also mentioned that his kids’ lives were far from normal, given that their mother is one of the biggest entertainers in the world and their father is Nick Cannon. Despite this, he praised their intelligence and values.
