A good number of dogs were found inside the house
In Monroe County, a residence became the scene of a significant rescue operation where 70 dogs, five cats, and a number of birds were saved. The unfortunate incident that led to this situation occurred when the person residing in the home passed away. Following this incident, the coroner was called to the location.
Upon discovering a large number of dogs housed within the premises, authorities promptly contacted the Pennsylvania SPCA’s Animal Law Enforcement Team for assistance. As of now, an ongoing investigation is underway to determine if there were any instances of animal cruelty or neglect involved.
