When it was time to buy a cabinet for the newly renovated dacha, our heroine came across a real “masterpiece” not far from her house. Some would call it coincidence, others fate, but she saw it as a sign and decided to keep it.
Someone had discarded it, but she recognized the potential in it and soon wanted to transform it according to her vision. As surprising as it may sound, the cabinet dated back to the 1970s. Back then, furniture was much sturdier and served much longer.
First of all, she washed it and lightly sanded the surface with sandpaper, especially at the ends. The surface was in quite good condition, so it didn’t undergo any changes. The next task was to remove the dust and wipe the surface with alcohol.
She chose a roller and applied three coats. The woman painted the cabinet door white, which seemed perfect after four coats. Now it was time to decorate the door with a stencil. The end result naturally exceeded all expectations.
