It’s never boring in a family of nine!
Many couples dream of having children. This is easy for some, while others have to be examined by doctors for years and resort to the help of modern technologies. Fortunately, these efforts are often rewarded, and sometimes even in a very unexpected way.
The story of Rachel and Jason Wilkinson from Texas, USA is a good example of this. No matter how surprised you are by this story, believe me, these spouses were surprised much more! The couple had been married for several years, and they already had two kids, but they really wanted a third baby. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do it.
But the couple did not give up and even began a course of treatment for infertility. Rachel was prescribed hormones, and soon the couple had hope: the woman was pregnant again! When Rachel went for her first ultrasound, her doctor noticed two heartbeats: twins were on their way! The family was just delighted!
But the story doesn’t end there. The next time the doctor performed an ultrasound of pregnant Rachel, she was really surprised. It was not two or even three heartbeats, there were five!
Can’t imagine, how stunned the couple was! There are very few cases of multiple pregnancies, but sometimes they occur as a result of treatment with infertility medicine. The couple had a very difficult choice. The doctors’ forecasts were not optimistic. The pregnancy would be difficult, and it was unknown whether all 5 children would survive. But despite all fears, the couple decided to keep all five.

On July 20, 2007, the woman gave birth to five babies: 3 girls and 2 boys! Everyone was born healthy and strong!
The family received all kinds of support from friends and relatives. By the end of the delivery, 29 people had gathered in the waiting room!
But of course, the story doesn’t end here as well. As you understand, the happy life of the spouses was just beginning. After all, it’s never boring in a family of 9!
