These dolls look like real people…amazing!
This talented artist is Mikhail Zaikov form Russia. He creates dolls which surprise everyone with their realistic appearance and originality.

The artist created his first work in 2010. In 2013 he became quite popular among those who appreciated his works. All his works are in the style of hyperrealism.

The dolls are made of plasticine. Zaikov also uses joint machines to make the dolls mobile. As a result, the figurines can take any human position.
The artist’s main motivation are retro characters. And most of his works depict young girls aged 13-16.

The dolls are 75cm tall, at most. It takes Zaikov about a month to create these realistic dolls. The man uses only high-quality materials for his works: he orders eyes from glassblowers in Germany, and hair from French mohair.

Irina Kuzemina is the fashion designer of the clothes that these dolls wear. She sews clothes in the style of the 19th and 20th centuries.
There is only one copy of each doll that Mikhail creates. The opening price of these works of art starts from $70,000.
