Despite all the hardships, the girl is always optimistic and open-hearted
Tessa is an ordinary child who likes to play different interesting games, communicate with peers, walk in the park or ride a bike. At the same time, Tessa is a unique child. She was born without a nose.
The baby was diagnosed with aplasia.
This disease results in the absence of any body part or organ. There have been only 100 cases of this disease in the history of mankind.
Tessa coughs, sneezes and sometimes even catches a cold, just like a normal human. However, she can’t smell anything.
Although Tessa has been and is still going through many hardships, the girl is always optimistic and open-hearted. You can’t help but fall in love with her energy.
At first, the parents were shocked by the appearance of their daughter, which is quite natural given the fact that the disease is extremely rare. But very soon the parents got used to it. For them, Tessa is the most beautiful baby in the whole world.
In fact, the spouses were aware of this even before the baby was born. Doctors let them know about the baby’s uniqueness and gave them the opportunity to terminate the pregnancy. However, both of her parents immediately refused the idea. Tessa is or worse than any other child and deserves a happy life.
Apart from aplasia, the poor girl also suffered from cataract in her left eye. She underwent an operation for this when she was 11 months old.
Thanks to the qualified doctors, Tessa is now able to breathe while eating and sleeping with the help of a tracheostomy.
Doctors plan to make her a nose prostheses when she gets of age.
Tessa always gets support from her devoted parents and siblings. They help her always keep hoping for the better future.
