Ladonya was only 20 years old when she became a local heroine. Her father has been a police officer in Akron, Ohio for 30 years. So in this case, her genes and kindness played a great role in her deed.
While being interviewed, the girl got shy and didn’t accept herself as a hero. She mentioned that she did what anyone would do in such a dangerous situation.
