Good deeds always pay off!
A homeless man found a bag on the road and started looking for its owner for several days. There were some expensive things in the bag – a phone, some money and important documents. But the man refused to take anything and wanted to return them back.
The woman, in her turn, decided to help the homeless man change his life for the better and she actually did it. She was Daisy Owen (20) who had lost her bag in a night bar. Daisy was really worried about her lost money and phone.
The next morning, Daisy hung posters about the bag near the bar.
She had already lost her hope, when a man called and told that he was ready to return her purse. They arranged a meeting and Daisy was surprised to find out that the amount of money and the phone didn’t even bother the man.
“Although I am homeless, I am an honest person. I never take someone else’s belongings, so I decided to return the bag”, said Paul Calderbank, the homeless man.
Daisy came up with a wonderful idea to thank the man. She shared her story on the Internet and created a GoFundMe page. People started donating money for the homeless man.
In a few days the woman managed to gather 6000 pounds thanks to thousands of people all over the world. Daisy gave the whole money to the homeless man. The man rented an apartment and managed to find a job.
