40 celebrities will be competing for a total of $2,5 million prize
The former quarterback Tony Romo will appear in North Texas in a different uniform. The Invited Celebrity Classic has announced, that Romo will take part in the tournament’s celebrity field in April. The athlete will compete against other celebrities.
The tournament will kick off April 21-23 at Las Colinas Country Club. 40 celebrities will be competing for a total of $2,5 million prize. Tickets will be free for the entire tournament with additional charges for sponsors.
It is a pleasure to be back on the golf course for Romo. Last year, Tony finished runner-up to former US Davis Cup Captain Mardy Fish in a playoff.
“The impact of this event on our community and on charities is also a bog motivation”, mentioned Romo.
Before the tournament begins, the Invited Celebrity Classic will host a free Youth Clinic. On April 18, kids will be able to receive a golfing lesson with Doug Barron. Children of all ages can attend the Youth Clinic for free.
