The house was severely damaged
On Thursday, a colossal tree toppled onto a residence in Cary, with two individuals present inside at the time.
At 6:45 a.m., Sky 5 conducted an aerial survey of the property located on Alicary Court, close to the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and SE Cary Parkway.
Firetrucks had arrived at the scene, and the dwelling appeared severely impaired by the immense tree’s impact. Sections of the interior were visible from the sky.
By 7 a.m., Duke Energy crews had concluded their work at the premises, which had been cordoned off with caution tape.
