Get ready, because the Albie Awards on Thursday had a big reunion moment.
The Clooney Foundation for Justice held its second yearly event, and it had lots of famous people, including Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. They both acted in the movie “The Devil Wears Prada,” and they got back together after 17 years.
They were all smiles in the pictures from the event. This event is all about honoring brave people who have risked a lot to bring justice.

Anne Hathaway, who is 40, didn’t wear the color cerulean. Instead, she wore a shiny green Versace dress with silver patterns and flowers on it. She also had a silver bag and some silver jewelry. Her hair was partly up and partly down.
Meryl Streep, who is 74, looked stunning in a black sweater with gold decorations, black pants, and black shoes. They hugged in front of the cameras.
Emily Blunt, who also acted in “The Devil Wears Prada,” was there too, with her husband John Krasinski. She wore a red dress with a special shape, and he was in a classic black suit.

In the movie from 2006, Anne Hathaway played a young journalist named Andy Sachs, who worked for a tough magazine editor named Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep. Emily Blunt was also in the movie as Emily Charlton, Miranda’s first assistant.
“The Devil Wears Prada” was a big success and made a lot of money. It even got Meryl Streep an Oscar nomination. Since the movie came out, Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep have stayed friends and even took pictures together at other events.
The director of the movie, David Frankel, talked about how Meryl Streep helped Anne Hathaway get the role. Meryl really wanted to make the movie and met Anne to make sure she was right for the part. After that, Anne got the role easily.

Before Anne got the role, other actresses like Rachel McAdams were offered the part. But in the end, it was Anne Hathaway who got it, and she was really excited about it.
So, it was a special reunion for the stars of “The Devil Wears Prada” at the Albie Awards, and everyone looked great.
