Brad Allred talks about his new TV series, Workshop It, which starts on Wednesday, November 1. He says it’s all about teaching, usefulness, and passion.
When Brad was young, he loved taking things apart and putting them back together. Later, he became a high school engineering teacher. To relax, he started doing DIY projects at home.

Brad began sharing DIY tips on Instagram, then moved on to making longer videos on YouTube. He now has over 109,000 followers and teaches millions of people how to do DIY projects step by step.
His advice for beginners is to start with one project at a time. You only need the tools and knowledge for that first project. Then, as you tackle more projects, you’ll gain more skills and confidence.
In his new series, Brad shares some of his favorite projects, like building a Little Free Library and a dining table out of a bowling alley lane. These projects are special to him because they bring his family together.

Even though Brad knows a lot about DIY, he still learns from Family Handyman magazine. He’s been a fan for a long time and is thrilled to host his show on their platform.
