In southern Cornwall, near Saint Michael’s Mount, there’s an old farmhouse redesigned by Tuckey Design Studio. The original farmhouse is about 400 years old and used to have both living and farming areas. The living part was upstairs while the animals and storage were downstairs. The farmhouse had small rooms because of this.

The design studio changed the farmhouse into a four-bedroom family home while keeping its old charm. They made sure to use sustainable ideas in their changes. The result is a mix of old and new that works well together.

Over time, the farmhouse was changed in different ways, giving it a mix of styles and materials. The designers liked this mix and didn’t try to make everything look the same. They added a new part made of stone on the upper level, sticking with the mix of old and new styles.
Now, let’s take a look inside the renovated farmhouse.
