According to the doctor, in the future the situation will only get worse and the most merciful will be to help the dog to leave without suffering.
The upset couple decided not to hide from their son that they could soon lose Buffy. Maria immediately went to school for the boy. She was touched by how seriously he reacted to the bitter news. Robbie told his mother that he wanted his Buffy to go to the dog Rainbow without suffering and pain. He knows that it is sad for those who stay and want to hug their dog in the last minutes.
