SO happy to know the puppy was saved!
In the aftermath of an EF1 tornado in southern Texas, which caused heavy damage to homes and resulted in one death and multiple injuries, a dog was found trapped under a house by an ABC News crew. The crew’s security detail heard the cries of the dog while setting up equipment in Laguna Heights, Texas. They called animal control, but ABC News sound technician Jim Gower didn’t wait for officers to arrive and started digging with a shovel. Within minutes, Gower had created a hole big enough for the scared dog to poke its head out from under the home’s foundation, but the dog hesitated to come out completely.
